What does Oz have to do with Israel?

Australia condemned Israel for their involvement in the very shady murder of several Hamas leaders in a Dubai hotel last week.

Australia's nanny-state, left-wing, self-righteous and smarmy Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has, it seems, appointed himself and his morally exemplary nation the new conscience of the world. First of all, he needn't be dipping his toes in a region so far away from the concerns of his own citizens as to warrant a geography lesson; and secondly he seems to be angling for some self-promotional liberal credibility in a matter he would be better leaving alone.

I think Australia's government must be bored. Work on some irritating new municipal by-law to infuriate your over-regulated populace Sir, and leave the Middle-East to the already confused inhabitants of that place.
